Charity shop with a difference!
Walk into the Apprenticeshop and you will be warmly welcomed by a young person with additional needs. For some of them, even finding the confidence to say "Hello" can be a challenge.
Apprenticeshop is a socially sustainable charity shop and a working and learning space for young people with special educational needs and disabilities. We sell donated, recycled and upcycled homewares with all proceeds going to local and international charities.
Why not pop in and say "Hello!"

A working and learning space for young people with special needs
Set up by Beech Lodge School in 2021 for their pupils to gain work experience in the community, proceeds from the shop have raised tens of thousands of pounds for good causes.
The young people who currently work in the shop are pupils who attend local special schools including Beech Lodge, Forest Bridge and Manor Green.
To date the initiative has been tremendously successful. Many of our pupils have completed vital work experience, enabling them to foster independence and develop key life skills before they transition to the wider world.
